The Bentinck Training Academy was launched in 2005 to give some
of WPC Group’s Trainees and Apprentices the opportunity to both
study as well as train in a ‘real life’ working environment. This
came after WPC Group acquired Hospitality Group Training and
established a Hostpitality Training Business in 2001. Now WPC Group
employs over 500 trainees and apprentices in a variety of areas,
giving people the opportunity to pursue careers in skilled
occupations.
WPC Group is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and The
Bentinck is fortunate enough to offer apprentices and trainees the
opportunity to work in the areas of Commercial Cookery, Hospitality
Operations, Business and Horticulture. Apprentices and Trainees
benefit greatly from WPC Group’s approach which is based on
developing strong partnerships with host emloyers while mentoring
and supporting skilled people through their careers.
